Summer is here, and although the pace of life at Three Graces Farm might be a bit slower than elsewhere, that doesn’t mean things aren’t happening. Here are some highlights.
Hollyhocks are blooming…
the peas are in…
and so are strawberries.
Dogs are napping…
and cats, too.
There have been several dramatic sightings, such as… a Baltimore Oriole,
an Indigo Bunting,
a black snake (it’s a GOOD thing, keeps the mice away!)
and in the last few days alone, not just one but FOUR (so far) four-leaf clovers!
The grass is getting long…
and so are the green onions,
and the afternoon shadows…
As you can see, we’re quite busy here.
